Re: Converter cores
the difference between the 8" Saturn and Opel core is the amount of surface area on the pump impeller fins. The Saturn has drastically less fin area and therefore has less coupling capability. This may be ok if you have a short stroke, high rpm , light weight dragster or altered but the Saturn ...

Re: nitrous converter question
our drag radial rules are bb 1 n2o kit , sb multi stage , turbo 88mm , blowers F1r or F2 with inlet reducer. and stock suspension. My car is 3450 lbs but not legal for my drag radial class because i have ladder bars, so i race up a class in true 10.5 . and we are in Springfield, Mo not KY so if you ...

Re: improvement ?
Jason I would need more info before i recommend to change anything. Do you have any data logging ? if not you could put a video camera in the car , zoomed in on the tach and make a pass (hillbilly data logger, but it works) then I could make some recommendations . Most likely there are some gains to...

Re: nitrous converter question
Keith Neal is a world class prankster , once he sent a converter in to be repaired and put 2 dead fish in the box with the converter !!! My shop stunk for a week. I have tried to get him back but nothing has topped the dead fish , by the way he shipped the day before a week end so it took a total of...

Re: nitrous converter question
Yes with the 8" converter you should be able to run the 6.00 with less nitrous , the only down side would be , it will only work for 1/8 mile because you will most likely over RPM the motor in the 1/4 mile. So it sounds like a pretty good plan for your 6.00 index. give it a try and at the worst...
