I have a Jerico 4 speed, drag race transmission, its a clutchless transmission. You shift it without using the clutch.

The clutch is only used on the starting line.

They are a race type of clutch that is designed so that they will slip a little off the line as well as on gear changes, to minimize wheel spin.

Is this a street car or drag race car? If its a drag race car, a adjustable clutch will help alot.

On my car going from the all steel front end to glass was exactly 250 lbs difference, including heater core, dash and stock wiring removed.

Lexan windshield was 10lbs savings.

Light weight wilwood front brakes 35 lbs savings from drums.

I was just thinking about your setup... 160lb injectors on a stock motor are not going to work very well which is why your lean at idle. If i remember right those injectors are good for a 1000hp alcohol engine. And as you know you need a minimum duty cycle to get them to work reliably

Only at first when it was real fat and i could not get any heat in the motor, i could not even get it to 140. lol an hour, i have to pull the fuel shutoff half ways...to lean it out and even then it will take 10 mins to get to 160 degrees.

I have only looked at afr at speed.

Is your car EFI? Did you put bigger injectors in it?

It has to be super LEAN... And yes alky can still run that lean (not safely), as well as fat enough to have fuel running out of the exhaust and still run. Fatten it up at idle and see what it does, ignore your afr for now. I am taking out my full sized radiator and putting in super small radiator......

I have 3" bullets on my Small block, My ears used to ring after a pass and the bullets took that problem away. My car was not affected performance wise, but they would be a bit on the loud side for a street car.

Those are descent heads, but require some special parts to use them. Offset rocker on intake, 60/40 spacing, and a special stud girdle.

But you might be able to find some like that with all the parts on racingjunk?

There are much better heads out there today.
