Here's a couple things to think about when dealing with egt's. First egt readings are like weather stations, you can not compair your readings with someone else and expect to get the same results. We have tested a couple different egt gauges and sensor manufactures. They all read slightly different....

that is the best way to mount those nozzles. You do not want the nozzle hanging down into the runner. Some intakes have the nitrous bosses cast into them (dart). You can use those bosses just watch how far down you tap your boss.

I not sure what you mean by a normal distrubutor, is it a lock out type (fix timing or does it have a advance curve in it. Do you have a crank trigger? If you changed rotors and it started and runs fine, chances are the rotor is close to be in phase and should run fine. I would double check just to ...

Ok thanks, were only going to the 34.5 tire. We have alot of clearance on the top. The only part that was a problem was at the 9 oclock position. We 1/2 inch clearance and were worried about tire shake hitting the body.

Heres how we do ours, i'm assuming you using a bbc with a crank trigger. take your dist cap (on the inside) of and draw a straight line from the center contact (where coil wire attaches) to the number one contact (number one wire attaches) and drill a hole, around the size of a pencil maybe a little...

you could use your arming switch as the emergency shut off. just install the switch between your battery and the power side of the relay. I you have a problem just shut the switch off and the system will turn of regardless of the relay. As for welding the contacts together, if you use a quality rela...

if the only thing you did was change the alternator, I would look into the alternator itself. Make sure the new alternator is wire (hooked up) correctly. Also alternators have a diode in them. If by chance you hooked the alternator wrong or you arced out the alternator when installing it, you can sh...

68 camaro, that shouldn't be a problem. You will have to use a relay to power the nos solenoids. I dont think the msd window switch provides enough output power to activate the soelnoids.(depending on you nos set up) Ground one side of your nitrous solenoid to the motor and run the other wire to you...

Thanks guys
For some reason I thought the dots lined up at tdc of the compression stroke. But your right, it is TDC of the exhaust stroke on #1. The two of us spent the whole night looking at these two stupid dots and couldnt figure it out.

thanks

BBC Cam question

Is it possiable to install a bbc cam 180 off. Usually when installing the cam gear you have the cam dot straight down and the crank gear straight up. A buddy of mine bought a motor with a jesel belt drive and the crank gear dot is straight up but the cam gear dot is also pointing straight up towards...

David I agree, Guys bring me stuff to tig weld that they have tacked together to "save me some time". It usually takes twice as long to repair their help. cja if your going to tack it together, make sure you have a tight fit (no large gaps around the joints) and everything is square.
