Re: Artis Houston's 7.903 pass

i think it will happen in florida soon, there is a hot bed of fast radial cars down there,i also like how the nos cars are not too far behind the turbo/procharged,kinda reminds me of the old promod blown/nitrous rivalries. :thumb:

Re: Fuel Pumps?

Well the Aeromotive Pump I got has an adjustable bypass -8 line to the cell that's why I was wondering about the return line from the carb. As far as the Nitrous side after the reg. I have a -4 line in a tee fitting just before the solenoid with an .020 jet in it to bleed off the pressure to keep i...

Re: Fuel Pumps?

hey ytnova, unless i misread your post, why would you need a return off the carb?i can see for nitrous, and you would run it off the fuel reg., but why would you need it for the motor side.usually 500-gpm pumps[bg, magnaflow] have a return off the pump that dumps in the fuel cell, or tank.at least t...

Re: Artis Houston's 7.903 pass

Artis is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, Turbo's have gone faster. Here in the DFW area we have David Wolfe of Wolfe Racecraft, and Grant McCrary with his twin turbo stang. I think David has the D/R mph record and I know Grant has gone a 4.29 (1/8) on 10.5 tires. You have to think that Artis ...

Re: Fuel Pumps?

if it were me i would just run 1-500gph type pump and y-it off to your nos side, and reg. it down to the sols. i would also recommend running a high amp relay,on a 500-gph pump because of the amp draw, just my 02.

Re: GEARING QUESTION

well here is a little update, i'm kinda glad i didn't change the gears, as of this past sat. i hit a personal best,908 @ 148, and the rpm through the traps was 7500, i think the cool fall air up here in the northeast had something to do with it. right now the rpms are up a little off the brake it fl...
