Re: rim screws

Thanks supernova ! :thumb: That is what I had heard before but was not sure about if more screws caused more wrinkles and folding or less ? Or if no screws caused even less wrinkles and folding or more - etc ! I was told that info before but the old memory is not what it was. I should learn to write...

Re: rim screws

Well the car was running 7.5 - 7.6 with a little old 482 with steel merlin heads ( also a 4" stroke ) but I have not had the time to upgrade for the new rules to run 7.5 or slower. Not sure if it is worth it to upgrade or better off changing chassis to a new one. The car was parked for 2 yrs an...

Re: rim screws

Thanks for the info John ! I was wondering because the 4 screws seem to be pulled loose and trying to come out. Did not know if they were this way for a long time or not. I got them at a swap meet and did not think to ask at the time. Am trying to get in the 8's on motor alone and wanted to be sure ...

Re: STINKY

The wife worked for a groomer and she says if the juice did not work use vinegar or a cheap womens douche. ( for the dog only :thumb: ) Not kidding ! I just woke her up and asked what they used there :smt005 says to let it soak then rinse it good. The groomer says the douche is the same thing the su...

Re: STINKY

any veggie juice will remove the taste from your mouth and wash your dog in it also ? I had a dog that got sprayed and it worked on her ! Try not to lick the dog next time and you will not get it in your mouth LOL :smt005

Re: Last chance to dial

If you are trying to win rounds at a bracket race wait until u are pulling into the box so the other guy will not know your time. This way you get an advantage of them not knowing if you are faster or slower than they are dialed. Make sure that the time you have dialed is correct on the timing board...

Re: How accurate are the MSD RPM Chips

I have a pack of 5 from MSD 7000-7200-7400-7600-7800. All of them start to limit 200rpm lower than the # says. I do not know if this is normal or not but all 5 do the same thing so maybe MSD plans this ???

Re: Driving Tips Please

I always found that a quick ET was not as important as MPH. If you have a good MPH it is hard for the other guy to judge the closing rate and they breakout easier or think they will catch you and don't. I always like catching more than being caught but it is alot easier to judge a slow MPH car and u...
