Speedster, like I said, it can be done, I ran two blue pumps with a 6an line for each, one for motor, one for spray and got the car to run 9.50's. I got lucky and never hurt the engine, probably because it never 60 footed that well, but I would certainly not recommend it for anyone else. I have way...

I run the 1/2 hard line all the way up to the front and from regulators to carb i run AN -8 line.
A friend of mine runs an-6 all the way and he runs nitrous and runs mid 9's and dont have any proublem.

my son was driving in high school class and these are all his times. I was wondering if maybe he left to easy but he says he was up on the converter? we use a trans break. I was kinda thinking that maybe he left without getting it up to 4000rpm.

Dont know what NHRA tech people will say? But i have used this hose on a USAC Midget with alcohol fuel with no problems and the ends were all push on type fittings. Just make sure when you cut your hose to blow thru the hose with air before you hook it up or little pieces of black hose will fill you...

Update: incase anyone else has this problem i fiqured i would fill in the solve for my popping. After changing carbs to my good holley that i rebuilt it was still popping when i tryed to start it cold or when i tryed to give it gas. so two carb doing the same thing i was pretty sure it was something...

I just went thru the same issues a couple weeks back. I dont know why but when i switched carbs and intake it was popping when i tryed to hit the gas quickly and even on start up. my engine builder said "your to lean" but i didnt think so so i spent money on a bunch of crap and played with...

9 psi is too much. holley says max 7 1/2 psi min 6psi. i think too much pressure blows right thru the needle and seat?
mine is set at 7+ and will drop to around 6 when you first hit the gas but im using a holley blue electric fuel pump and it is loud.

the next day we raced and i fiqured it must have been pretty bad cause we were a tenth off? 675 above sea level about 730 ft swing. :scratch:

grandville455 thanks for that website. i went there and plugged in my new best run from this weekend and now i know why we ran that fast. my density altitude was -62 feet below sea level. my relative density 100.18 percent. :lol:
