Did you put the fuel pressure gauge on and drive it with the gauge taped to the windshield so you can see it??? If you just checked pressure with it idling you really checked nothing. If fuel pressure is low change the filter 1st then drive it again.... You need to have the problem to check it prope...

Do you have a lumber mill close to you??? If so you can get some rough cut lumber but get a hard wood like Maple or oak and treat it your self.
Treated lumber only keeps the bugs from eating it it does nothing from keeping it from rotting like ever body thinks

IMO your good!!! What weight oil are you using??? I have been using Mobil 1 15/50 and the oil pressure is lower but it's still at 35 to 45 hot after a few 1/4 mile passes. I know some guys that have 20 at idle hot and they run them gthat way with no problems ..

Is that all warmed up or just after a pass??? 40 psi is ok at Idle. What is it Idling at ??

After giving my last motor more clearence the bearings looked alot better. So from then on it more clearance
