Re: Rod bolt question

You also should have them checked after you do your final TQ as switching bold with different tq will
distort the hole....Just my 2 pennies worth

Rob, I think a 1.4 tip I used for spraying the paint...I sprayed all my front end strut arms , pedals,4-link bars and anything that is a bolt on piece. I swiped my wifes portable clothes rack and made hooks to hole them and went ahead and sprayed them with a single stage urethane paint... One thing ...

Re: Looking for a paint forum

It is alot of work and time.. Attention to detail is important cause if you can see it in primer it will be there with the paint on it!!! I did use epoxy for a base coat/primer and over that I used a high build primer..The epoxy was great as you can dry sand it or wet sand it but it does need a good...

Re: Leaking Slick

Fix a flat also works very good and I think better...Spray it inside the slick wipe it around with a rag or a sponge and mount and fill with air..Works well but kind of messy to work with

Re: bbc oil pressure question

I had a Vega and it was a P.I.A. to change the filter...I started using a Moroso filter as
they make a short design and it worked and was easier to service...

With the bypass pluged you need to be careful what filter you use as your
forcing all the oil through it
