Dropped the pan again tonight, and all looks good. Guess that was the problem (shavings in the oil passages). Lesson learned there. Thanks for everyones help. Dropped the pan again tonight, and all looks good. Guess that was the problem (shavings in the oil passages). Lesson learned there. Thanks for everyones help.

When we washed the oil passages out on the crank, we found what we think are cuttings from when the block was line honed. Guess the machine shop didn't wash it out like they said they did. :nutkick: It should be back together and in the car within the next couple days. We'll drop the pan again to s...

I've had that deal before. Turned out to be a fuel pump that would heat up and die. Then it'd cool off and you'd be good for awhile again.

Yeah, yuor 60 is way off. When I was going 9.10's, my 60's were in the 1.23 to 1.26 range. I am a lightish car though.
