Re: Nitrous wiring question
I think MSD has some diagrams on how to hook those up to the 6AL on their site. Usually you would use the window switch to ground out or supply power to your nitrous activation circuit. Sorry can't say which don't have info on the window switch.

Re: Nitrous wiring question
Have you considered this is a good time to upgrade to a Powergrid vs spending money on the old 6AL and bunch of add on boxes? Has everything you want in it for nitrous. Step Retards, Window Switch, far more control capabilities. This might be a good time...

Re: Composite leaf springs with Caltracs
I've only heard of one guy that tried them on his Maverick, was like 10 years ago and he broke one. Might still be an old post on Yellowbullet about it, again been a long time ago and don't recall what brand they were. I supposed it would also depend how much power the car has to if they can stand u...

Fast forward to 2019 - Boosted cars are still #1 but they did just get more weight. Better than nothing but not enough.

Re: Ladder bar car with bounce in the car
Do you mean they are so light they might be stacking and hurting travel? Yeah that could certainly be a problem if that's going on. However, again unless you hit a sizable bump, a ladder bar car should only be extending the shock from at rest, at least till you lift when it relaxes.

Re: Ladder bar car with bounce in the car
Bouncing is often something bound up in the rear suspension or shocks too tight. Might start with unhooking the shocks on one end and bouncing the rear of the car, does it move freely? Then set shocks on loose setting, can you move them by hand is one or both really tough to move? Full loose you sho...

Re: Tuning triangulated 4 link
I wouldn't rush right out and start changing 4 link geometry. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. 1st off QA1 shocks aren't the best performing shocks in the world. In fact a great deal could be due to your front suspension setup. I'd first suggest filming the car launching with high quali...

Re: Small tire vs Big tire
Really? Well I suppose you should do some measuring to see how much room you have huh? I'm sure you're aware by going big tire you'll not fit in with same type of car you have. Course if you're just test n' tuning it ain't no big deal.
