Never really had a problem with Moroso Ultra 40's.

Big or small block? Over or under the headers?

Got pics?

Re: Any difference?

The taller tire offers more wade/wrinkle and has a greater foot print. Most cars pick-up. Some pick-up too much. One customer though it would tame down the be less violent (due the extra height). We told him, no it will have more traction. It went from a small wheel stand to a very violent, bumper d...

Re: Help me pick an electric fan..

Spal fan are the best. They blow enough air to make it nearly painful to to in the path of the air.
A shroud and a couple of fan that best cover the area is the way to go. Any uncover area should have high pressure by pass flaps installed.

Re: Dipstick problem?

First we never run a drip stick in a race car. If it leaks fix the leak. Oil come and goes to quickly to worry about oil level.

Second it a piece of metal hit another piece of metal to shear it off and fling it around the crankcase I'd at least pull the pan. Or check though the inspection port.

Re: RPM drop vs. rear gears vs. stall speed, please help

several things are wrong here and they all point to the converter. 1 10" is way too large of fluid coupling for a nat asp small block with 3.750 stroke 2 spragless is NOT what you want for 1/4 mile racing (will always make heat) 3 the flatline you see after the shift is mostly due to converter...

Re: engine bearings question

Clevite H are a good bearing and narrow to accommodate aftermarket radi.

Clearance is based upon application and usage. A little looser may make it live longer.
With the extra clearance you will need to adjust the oil to accommodate the larger
gap or up the oil weight to achieve the proper pressure.

Re: remote bottle opener

As long as your n2o solenoid does not leak it does not matter is you leave the bottle open. Or leak anywhere else.
If your solenoid leaks well, your carb butterflys :bling: will be the first to know when you go to start it.

Are fans really blowing? Do they blow enough that it is almost painful to be hind them.
If not.... There is a lot of different between good fans and fans with big numbers.
