Dedenbear power glide trans question
Has anyone messed with the trans brake adjustment bolt on back of trans by the brake solinoid. It has 7 adjustments to control how fast the trans dumps the reverse clutch pac. Im trying to help get the drag radials to hook on intial trans brake release. Best 60foot on motor is 1.28, but inconsistant...

Denny's drive shafts are great. I have nos ready, called them with there form filled out and had 0 problems. 3200 car sm block glide and 8:0's in 1/4. Its a nice piece.

I know your trying to help, but in the forum format that is a little to much info to let out. I already had several people at our local track come up to me and said they saw me on here and started asking me questions. I would love your input but maybe a way to be one on one?

I wanted to thank you guys for your input. Working much better now.... 1.28 60 foot time on the radial on motor. Better 60 foot time then I had on the slicks. But I still have some fine tuning to do. I always chauk the outside edge of the rear tires to see how its hitting the track and helping me ad...

When I had stock suspension and factory mono leaf that I had de-arced with caltrac bars it all worked great in 3000 lbs nova. The car ran 5:50's in 1/8, only problem being that it would stand up and drag the bumper. Lots of bent control arms and smashed oil pans. Makes for a good video's though. By ...

I turned the bottom setting from 0 to 3 clicks which stiffened the rear shocks and car still didn't move.

Thats about where it is now........ 46 and about 8" high. I have always had the shocks set pretty loose (old street racer).

I glanced at that when I got the book on friday. I didn't think my car fell into that chart. 3000 lbs car and runs 8.90's on motor in 1/4mile?

There koni double adjustable rear shocks. I also just bought your book and will be doing some reading this week. Im getting ready to go out and do some wrenching. Any suggestions on an IC?

I bracket race the the car all the time and with the 31-10.5 slick the car 60foots a 1.33. I tried last weekend to run the radial and it didn't work.
