Help with Nitrous

Ok i got ? about putting nitrous sys on my truck. First anyone running NX sys. I am looking at one the most i would dois a 150 shot. what all will i need? size pump, filter, size fuel lines, press. reg. pressure switch? , and ect. i am running tranbrake how to wire and so on.

bob west how would i know what cam i got? cam that is in motor i a crane the part # is 111431 i have look at crane web but cant find anything as far as what gear to run with this cam.

I think i got it dist. gear had lot of wear. should i put back a steel or bronze gear? i not runing an roller can. also can someone tell me what the end play on gear to housing should be?

the box i have has timing retard in it. what you think about timing 38 or 40 ok for my engine

supernova not sure but i have to say it jumps 5 to 8 degree Dist has a bronz gear i am running a mechanical solid lifter can not roller i have to check dist gear to see where it is wearing. someone said lock out dist. ok tell me why i should? i know how to lock the dist. when i do i would set timing...

Timing chain has about 15 runs on it not to sure about dist gear.
truck is running find just have to set timing best i can around 38 to 40 total timing. Can you run a brass dist gear with any cam?

Timing not stable

I need some help when i try to check timing it is very unstable jumping around. I have tryed other types of timing lights. checking at 3000 and above. Mallory Dist, and Box.

hey it is a John Deere so made to pull stumps hey i been out of racing for long time so didnt know what gear to put in. all i have run is 1/8 mile. i am coming off line at 5000 and shift at 7000 cross line around 6800. you see i am a olddddd man lol 52yo. so any help would be nice. I am running a 1995 S-10 it is painted John Deere Green, got 355 sbc,Powerglide,9" with Spool 5.14 gears. You may ask why that color well i work on tractors as a side job to pay for it.
best time was 6.54, 100.4 mph in 1/8.
Will post pic one day when i can.
