Re: New higher power plate
ah! haha, ya I see where your comming from now. I don't have a big tire car, so i'm using a progressive system to try and make it a bit more predictable. I know it'll kill some e.t., but so does spinning a bunch. Everything is new on myy car since i last raced it so its going to take lots of test &a...

Re: New higher power plate
I only understand about half of what I'm reading, but one thing I am certain of is this: You guys are *scary* I'm gonna keep my little huffer car away from you. I don't know how I'm "scarry". I'm sure your "lil huffer car" is faster than my lil 'ol grandma car anyway! Gues...

Re: So, Explain to Me
I'm not sure of the question here? Can you rephrase it fo me? The more liquid nitrous that gets in the cylinder the better. It's more dense than in a gaseous state.HPDRIFTER wrote:Why you wouldn't loose some of the cooling effect by adding the charge farther down into the intake?

Re: New to the gas.
Wow nice set up man, I like the pick in the Avatar section as well. NOS is probably going to be the most cost effective route to go, but i've had Nitrous solenoids that dont work from brand new from them. Kinda a piss off. A couple of my buddy's have had good results with Nitrous Xpress. At least th...

Re: Fuel plumbing
A little update, got some more fittings in, and plummed up my fuel tank. It's set up to run the Aeromotive Elimanator pump, but since an A1000 can supply probably double what i needed, I just installed a step down fitting for now. Rick's did an awsome job on this custom tank for me, what do you guys...

Re: Fuel plumbing
Well it actually got above sub zero tempatures today so i spent a lil time in the garage, and opened up the Aeromotive regulator to shim it. The only 1/2 inch washers i had were just the right diameter to cover the spring while it was unsprung. I was worried it might fall inside if i had to crank do...

Re: Fuel plumbing
Thanks for the part number, and very detailed description. I ordered all my fittings and that two port log (i'd of bought yours had i known) plus the -4 hose and fittings for the nitrous fuel solenoid bleed. Still like 400 bucks when all said and done, so a 40 dollar fitting isn't going to blow the ...

Re: Fuel plumbing
Wow awsome Pics, thanks alot man i was wondering if there was enough room between the holes to turn the regulators, or have to go with the double female swivel fitting. One more quick question seeing you have the same regulator as me did you have to use a -10 strait cut orb to a -10 strait cut orb f...

Re: Fuel plumbing
Ya chp, i had mine set up that was before when i was running 150shot with NOS cheater plate, with no problems. Since i'm going for twice that now i kind of want the tuning ability. I'd be good to find out if others got away with one regulator, and up to what h.p on the motor and what size kit.???

Re: Fuel plumbing
oh ok good to know that someone has it in use. Does it have ports on both ends and the top, or just the one end?? If you could get that pick up it'd be appriciated. Also, good call on the pro-systems modified regulators. They were great to deal with when they built my carb, I might just have to call...
