Re: Advice for chassis dyno...
The only thing you should do it make sure you have a street tires on and enough air pressure.
Look for general safety things but, you dyno operator should be able to strap the car, place the fan/s, and know how to run the dyno. If they don't DO NOT let them touch your car! Take it somewhere else.

Re: long sholder belts
I don't know how safe that is with a bench, but if you need some special belts call Bob Stroud down in Oklahoma. I'm certain he can make up whatever you're wanting. Actually Bob has given the reigns to someone else. You can catch him there every once in awhile. Never the less, STROUD has great prod...

Re: 370,377, 396,OR 422 CID 8-71 Blown SBC?
If you're staying in a standard height block with a std height cam @ 3.750" stroke you have to run a small base circle cam. A standard or larger cam is better. No to mention issue with pan and then rail clearance. If you do a tall deck with a raised cam you have more options. But you are still ...

Hyd roller maybe but why. We run solid rollers on the street with thousands of mile a year and Zero issues.
MYTH, You need to adjust your solid roller cam at every stop light.
Go for the 3.500 Stroke, if your buying new it doesn't cost any more.

Re: Rear end length question
Depend on the brakes. There are several spacings within the same brakes depending upon set up.
Since you have hat and rotors you need to measure the spacing and then order axles.
The typical Torino spacing is 2.5 for disc and 2.75 for drum but you have Wilwoods..............
