I would put the sway bar back in the front. It is possible that the twist now is loading the passenger side tire harder and then driving it left. 150 springs in the rear seem a little stiff for a 2800 lbs car.

Re: Charging system help
I have 4 gauge from the alternator to the battery side of the cutoff switch. 12 gauge is not enough for such a long distance. I would bet the 12 wire is getting hot and the resistance is going up in the wire as the battery goes dead.

If you don't break it every once in a while you're not trying hard enough. And your car hasn't been on the trailer yet anyway.

Re: On hold again.....
I know EXACTLY what you mean. These Chevelles are so heavy that when you step on the gas they try to flip over backwards because they can't move forward.
Good thing those camaro's don't do that.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Bruce's surgery went well. From what I understand the cancer did not spread and was confined to the areas that were removed. He is very sore, but he is doing ok. He's not sleeping much from the pain but they are having him walk during the day. My wife and I are goin...

As long as it doesn't crunch its a soft food. Like steak, cheeseburgers, Meatball sandwiches, all are good. Stay away from fresh vegetables. Those things will kill you.

Re: Cooling / heating question...
2 things you can try is look for bubbles in the radiator from combustion, or if you know someone at a repair shop with an inspection machine they can test the coolant for combustion gases with the exhaust sniffer. Thanks for responding Ray :) Yeah, I didn't even consider the possibility of having h...

I would change the thermostat, and fill it through the water neck as high as you can to purge all the air out of it. Then put the new thermostat and neck on and fill it up the rest of the way. I give you credit for trying to run something like that on the street. I don't have the patience to do that.

Re: Back on (the) Track!
I wouldn't go throwing too many things at it yet. The car doesn't appear to be a wild wheelstander as it sits, so raise the bars up and get them out of the equation. Then you can play with tire pressures and look at the 4 link angles and shock setings then. I run mine at 8 1/4 psi on a 14.5WX32 at 3...

Re: Back on (the) Track!
What tire pressure are you running and what is the weight of the car with the driver? And where are you as far as 60' right now?
