HEY.......
Where is everyone?
I can't believe all of you, and that includes Mr. Mike Peters, all fell off the face of the earth.
Are all of you scared now that Rappid Racing's, Ray DeAngelis is assembling a new motor for me?
Let's get this site back up and running again.
This placed used to be tons of fun.

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
The pistons are from Mahle and are 48cc, so with the 117cc heads, he's thinking 13.7:1. I requested that this motor runs 10.0 in hot air, and he said somewhere in the area of over 700HP but less than 750HP to get the job done. So that is his goal and my goal is to get a much weight off of the car th...

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
The motor, well lets see.
The engine guru, is massaging the pistons right now.
Next thing in line is to come up with the money to get the block work done, and to buy the cam and heads.
I figure if I save $0.50 a week for life, it will get done sometime after I die....LOL
How's your motor?

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
Thanks John.
He does some nice work.
He did a bowtie emblem for me on my standard grill and you couldn't tell from a distance that it was a decal.
Really only way you could tell was that it was flat.

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
I decided to spend a little money on something else, other than motor parts. My front grill cracked a mounting tab off, so I decided to do what I've been wanting to do for a long time. I put on the RS grill. http://camaroforums.com/forum/members/bruce69camaro-44678-albums-evil-pumpkin-4191-picture-r...

Re: Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose
New slugs for the motor showed up last week.
It's getting there slowly.
Next step is a trip to the machine shop as soon as the money is saved up.

Re: Ok, so which one of you guys has experience with Holley Dominator EFI ?
Funny you mention that, because I just learned today that the new design gas valves that we are looking to use on our boilers, are basically a EFI type setup and they come with the mass air flow senor's and whatever else is needed and I said to the guy, so basically this is the same setup as a car, ...

Re: Need tips to improve sixty foot on a sec gen Camaro
I can tell you, I tried to footbrake my car and I ended up switching to a transbrake. I was advised that I need to get the RPM's up higher because I was running a short stroked motor and a brake would definitely help. It was dead coming off the line, so I added the brake and the car came out a lot b...

Welcome to the site....
Are you using a transbrake or are you foot braking the car?
I'm probably the last person to give you expert advise, but I can tell you what I tried on my car.
