Re: nos chart for 3 kits
I take it you have all speedtech kits? If so I'd give them a call and see what they suggest. You could also call some of the guys like Monte Smith or Jeff Prock and they might be able to get you a base line. I would assume your 762 has a pretty agressive burning head and the tune won't tolerate a bu...

Re: crank trigger
Now that you mention it I think it does start better. Maybe just in my head though. I remember back when I thought "man I'll never have the need for a crank trigger". The evolution of speed lol. Got a bunch of stuff I thought I'd never need.

Re: crank trigger
I've seen claims of 25hp by some people, just from swapping to a crank trigger. I didn't run mine back to back to compare. You're right about being steady compared to the dist. pickup. I now consider it a must for a serious nitrous engine.

Monte would be a great addition to the board. He's not just good at nitrous either, he can help anywhere on a drag car.

Re: OMALLEY CROSSBAR
Never heard of them myself, but most nitrous solenoids come from the same place. Depending on the solenoids you have a 61 nitrous jet should be about 200 to 225 hp.

Re: Progressive Controller
Exactly like John said. Have the arming switch make the solenoids hot and the wot switch just turn the controller on. This is how mine is wired, although I don't engine purge. Just curious but why do you want to purge through the engine? I was under the assumption that it made the system hit harder,...

Re: X275 Rules Suck - John Sears loves turbo cars...
My car wads the hoosiers very bad that low, we ended up at 20 psi. I asked around and most others were that high as well, actually no one said they were lower than 18, but they were lighter cars as well. John, I think you have a good catch on the shock extension, I measured from mounting point to m...

Re: X275 Rules Suck - John Sears loves turbo cars...
Saw a post by John that said originally there was going to be no tall decks at all, but decided to allow them. Then he said they get a weight hit because you can get a better ring package in a tall deck and spray more. In my book a tall deck 588, 598, 632, or whatever are going to make about the sam...

Re: X275 Rules Suck - John Sears loves turbo cars...
First of all, I'm glad to see NHRA getting more involved with heads up racing, even at this limited level. Those x275 rules are a joke though - that is if you have a Big Block Nitrous car. Wow John I couldn't agree more. The bad thing is everyone on the bullet thinks a bb nitrous car is going to be...

I run the cometic mls gaskets and have never had a problem with them on my bbc. I've seen guys do the copper trick you are talking about and seems to work fine. How much are you spraying on it when it pushes the gasket out?

Re: Kit limmit, Bottle limit, Time
If you look at the new jet charts they have flipped the nitrous and the fuel jet numbers so the nitrous is larger now.

Re: remote bottle opener
Leaving the bottles on too long is hard on the plungers. Some guys use the 1/4 turn valves in line and shut off as soon as they're done with the run and purge before they get back. We always shut ours off but they're in the passager seat.
