Re: Kit limmit, Bottle limit, Time
The power shot nitrous has a .073 orfice, so that would be the max you can get out of it. Depends on who's numbers you go by but should be around 175hp. The nitrous express bottle will fit, in fact I really can't think of one that won't fit as long as they're both 10 lb. The old brass bottle valve w...

Re: MSD Noise
Yes, my 7al would whine all the time. I bought it used but it never seen to hurt anything. I didn't have a radio in it so I can't comment on that, but MSD said it's a ground and/or noise issue. They sell the ground filters that's supposed to eliminate the feedback, but I don't know how well they work.

Re: Wierd brake light problem. HELP
I've had some problems out of the head light switch doing funny things like that. Is yours the original one? Also my tail light sockets on mine get loose sometimes. They'll work then got out and come back on.

Re: surge topend
I'd say it's the fuel pressure switch, but could also be the rpm switch. Seen guys talk about them messing up and turn the nitrous on and off. Jump the fuel switch first, and if it doesn't fix it bypass everything with a push button switch just so you know it's keeping power. Like Tommy said it the ...

Good job man and right before the end of the year so you don't have to kick yourself all winter wondering what it'd run.

Re: progressive problem
I think they just has a bad batch of units. I've heard so many stories of these things doing this. Mine would work in the pits no problem. Take it out to make a run it'd come on then go off and come back on. Steve told me it wasn't the controller doing it. I moved it all over and it'd still do it. P...

Re: Nitrous solenoids stuck closed
Kind of rare both of them going out at once. Are you sure nothing is blocking flow in the nitrous, like clogged filters. How much bottle pressure did you have? Some times too much won't allow them to open. You can put a feeler gauge on the stud thru the middle holding the coil down and it should sti...

Re: street bbc running hot
What gas? I don't run a thermostat but have a plate that fits into the water neck with around a 3/4 to 7/8 hole in it to slow down the flow a little. I used to have a 477 with the block filled so only the heads got water and it would get up to 210 after a 30 mile cruise. How hot does it get? Ever pa...

Hey ytnova how fast have you been with that setup. It seems the question to run the top or bottom hole is up in the air. I've seen fast cars both ways.

I'd look at the band. Either it's real loose or wore out. That's what was wrong with mine at least

Re: Question for Craig W.
I double checked my wiring and it was all right. So I reloaded the program in the comtroller again. I also read were it said to turn the ignition on and off several times. I don't know if that did anything but I push the WOT swich and the dang thing started working.
