Re: Gas vs Race Gas vs E85 vs Alcohol
I ran mine in E85 just changing the metering blocks to the Quick Fuel ones and jetting up 10%, but i wouldn't reccomend it...it idled horribly. I had Mark Sullens do a full conversion and I am happy with it. My car picked up a little bit and it runs/ idles just as it did on gas. When you convert to ...

Re: Spacer Talk 101
From my reading, I don't think any of us on this forum will use a 4-hole. If I understand correctly, they increase low-end torque. For us we are up and out of that before we leave the line. So, open spacers. I scavenged a local swap meet and got a few heights to play with. The taller the spacer the ...

Re: She's Blue!
After I painted mine, I was advised by a pro to put the ding/scratch in it. Otherwise by some higher means, every shopping cart, tree branch, etc would be attracted to it...and it would get scratched anyway. LOL

Re: New Switch Panel
Is it a no no to drill through the roll bar? You could weld a couple of bracket bolt combos to the top of the box and drill two holes in the hoop. This way you could slide the bolts through the bar and put the nuts on behind the bar. You should be able to hide the brackets above the box, and it woul...

Just loaded 190 dragstrips into my site It's rather fun to play with and see how far tracks are away from you. Of course, my opinion may be biased

Re: Sliders on rear
I bolted everything up and sat the car down on the sliders, moved the boxes to where there was just a little more room to slide in the front of the box (so the spring eye just to the back of center in the box) and welded them to the box I made to mount them to. I would think if you use the position ...

Re: Would it be bad to....
I pull it in with the back of the car maybe 2ft in from the door. There's some work to be done on the ramp door flap before I get it any closer to the door  I'm always paranoid about something...now I need to check and see why the car bounces so much the front Cal-Trac brackets smack the floor...
