Re: high speed problem 70 Cuda
90/10 shocks always let the front end stay lifted in my personal experience. Putting a front air dam/spoiler while the fornt end is that high in the air is going to do nothing but cause additional aerodynamic drag. Does the car still have torsion bar front suspension? Start tightening the front susp...

Re: Finally Broke into the 4's
4.80's of course! "Frank" is the nickname Mike gave the engine in Ol' Blue. I'm not sure if it was because it was big, ugly, or made up of a mix of parts that didn't quite fit together? Frank (Frankenstein) because he's a MONSTER!!! Was a very exciting night and you and Team Heard did a w...

May not be totally carbon fiber (or may may not even be carbon fiber at all) but, could be lighter weight than aluminum -

Re: It's comming along nicely!
Wings do a great job of pushing the air past the rear of the vehicle to eliminate the merge point of the air flowing over the top of the car and the air flowing underneath the car. This helps the car be more stable at speed. Very rarely are wings used to create downforce. Pro Stock cars have rules t...

Seriously? Sheesh....... Com'on, you know how happy we all are that you came through your surgery with excellent results. Now, be happy about and try to have just a smidgen of a sense of humor, K? As far as John wanting a vinyl top, unless he's got me totally fooled, he would never add the weight, t...

Next you'll be telling him to put orange hockey stripes on it. Danged hockey players. Hope removing part of that colon brought out some sense of style that's been repressed.Bruce69Camaro wrote:a black vinyl top would look good on your car........

I guess if John says that's brother Mikey, I'll have to believe him. Besides, I don't want to argue with the site owner, that wouldn't look good.....LOL I'm still working on my secret weapon for this season, but it's starting to worry me. I told Mikey this, but I went from 274 lbs. to my current we...

Re: Return of the Death Nova
What are the specific rules that limit you to a 200 shot? I assume it's jet size probably in a single stage plate. Is there a spec nitrous system you have to run?Craig W. wrote:I Hopefully I can find 5.30s before the year is over but it'll be tough with only a 200 shot.

Yeah, Glasstek usually gets very high praise. Like John said, did you contact them on the problems? Maybe yo've got an extra-large Nova?

Re: On hold again.....
Hi guys and thanks. I'm feeling better each day, its slow but I'm getting there. Taking walks down to the garage to see my ultimate car , and taking walks outside really helps. Ray came to see me carrying a big yellow duck, which from what I'm told, our conversation turned into something pretty int...

Re: On hold again.....
Well guys, tomorrow is the day. I got my car all ready, new trailer, nitrous is all hooked up and as soon as the doctor says I'm good, I'll be all ready. I asked Ray to TNR the car for me, but I'm not sure if he's up to dealing with all the power the Camaro can throw at him...... but if all goes we...
