Re: bbc 2 carbs ?
There is also the tuning issue with two carbs. It may seem to run ok, but one carb can be way off and the other picking up the slack. This can kill a lot of power off. I can't tune for crap, never have. So my tunnel ram set up is going to be tuned by the pro's on a dyno.

Re: bbc 2 carbs ?
I'm no pro, but I think two tunnel ram specific 1050's will always out perform a single dominator on the right motor. From what I understand the wide lsa of nitrous cams like tunnel rams. This is strictly an opinion of some one who reads WAY to many magazine articles. There is a lot of nay sayers on...
Re: BBC HEADS
Looking at it now you would never have guessed that it was so screwed up. That car is a lot of fun to watch leave the line. I hope mine is cool like that when it gets done. What is your total race weight after the changes?
Re: BBC HEADS
Wow, sounds like you were lucky to save the car at all, but it led to some improvements. I knew you broke the crank after several years of service. Is there a 4340 in there now?
Re: BBC HEADS
Hell no, I didnt know that. What the hell happened? That had to about make you puke, I could not imagine how emotional I would be if the vette got wrecked.
Re: BBC HEADS
What did you do to take the weight off the car?
Re: BBC HEADS
I dont know, but I have heard they were designed by HVH, who does r&d for Brodix dont they?
Re: BBC HEADS
I remember when you made the switch. I was kinda keeping tabs on your progress on enginecombonation.com. The heads and converter made huge difference. I remember when you were trying to get past the 11.0x's hump. What else have you changed since then? That's a lot of et to drop in a short time! :thu...
BBC HEADS
Anyone on here ever use the Canfield heads? That's what's going on my 496 but very few people use them. Most people are opting for the AFR stuff these days. Canfield was what I could afford at the time and a builder I talk with regularly really likes them, so what are the local oppinions??
