Hi, my name is Todd Geisler and live in Maryland. http://gallery.godragracing.com/photos/cecil116/IMG_8351.sized.jpg The car still looks great Todd. I remember reading about your car on the web 7-8 years ago and wishing my Nova could be that fast. I see you're another all-motor guy. My heart is all...

What I've seen is really, really small and usually only seen through my plug reading glass. Is real pepper usually larger than that?

I've seen new plugs, right out of the box have "pepper" on them. Sure makes it hard to tell what is detonation and what isn't! They were Autolite race plugs. Have you guys seen this too?

I have an ARC relay on my Nova. Here is how I have mine wired to trigger the nitrous solenoids: Terminal Necessary Wire ---------- -------------------- +12V 12V from Battery GND J Ground Coil Trigger wire from micro switch N.O. Solenoids + wire The instructions on these things suck, but I finally fi...

That's a nice improvement in cooling. My wife's Chevy II has always run a little hotter than I like. I tired Royal Purple Ice but it didn't really seem to do much. I've heard others say it worked for them and the same for Redline Water Wetter. So maybe its just our particular application that isn't ...

What some of the guys have seen with the 26x8.5" slick is that you need to get the car up on the rear tires before engaging the nitrous, but don't wait too long or it'll blow them off. I've been running a .1 sec delay with pretty good results. These are mostly cars that started out as street/st...

My electric pump makes some gurgling noises too. I have to wonder if a belt driven pump might make the same noises, but we just can't hear them because of the engine running. Anyone with an electric drive on a belt driven pump want to chime in on this?

Hi everyone, I'm Craig Watson from Columbia, Kentucky. I'm a 31 year old Mechanical Engineer working in the pump industry. I've been married 10 years and have one son, Timothy, who will be 8 next month. I've had my '73 Nova since I was 17 and its progressed from daily driver to mostly heads-up race ...

That's what I'm going to do. I'm building a new engine and I'll start out with my tried and true HP1000 Holley and once I've got some clean runs under my belt with the new setup, I'll start working with the Dominator. I've already got the 4150 plate and John is going to let me use his 4500 plate, so...

Things should start going faster for me after Monday (as long as I quit changing my mind about things like I did with the rods!). I'm really close to having everything I need. I thought I was going to get away with using the pushrods I have, but then I realized the Isky lifters are much taller than ...

Looks like the board is going to be a success John and with the people on here so far, its going to be a great resource.

It appears that I'll be missing next weeks race, so that'll make two in a row. Gotta find more time to get the engine finished up!

How about you bring it to Amarillo. I'm going to start the new motor with the 4150 carb and be sure its healthy with a carb that I know is jetted about right. Then later on I'll try the Dominator and see what it does. So I don't think I'll need the 4500 plate before then.

Thanks!

4150 plate under a Dominator adapter

Of course I'd be crazy to do it after paying to have Mike blend my adapter into my intake, but I guess it would work OK. I've never seen it done, but I'm sure there's someone out there like me that hasn't bought a 4500 plate yet, but wants to try a Dominator.
