I see a lot of Mopar and Ford guys using a pinion snubber and several people have mentioned i might need one in my set up
is it a must have or a wait and see if i need one situation.

Is there anyone running 2" or bigger headers on a sbc I am currently running 1 7/8"
Hedmans and with a blower on my 383 I have been told you cant have too big a header.

just ran the motor and used new temp gun idled for 10 mins @190* water temp #1=747* #3=763* #5=750* #7=630* #2=748* #4=774* #6=771* #8=720* I am guessing that #7 is cooler due to fuel distribution from just a single carb on a standard BDS intake which apparently is not known for good flow on that cy...

Good point about the LF maybe being soft. The scale info is interesting but lord knows what's going on in regards to weight at launch and going down track when the car is putting the power down. I am relocating my lower rear shock mount so that the shock is more vertical I have Strange double adjustables with 6 1/2" of travel how much extension travel should I be aiming for with the car at ride height currently I only have 3 1/2" due I suspect to the way they are leaned in. Thanks...
