Re: Transbrake and NOS controller wiring
Should be just a matter of tracing the WOT switch wire to its power source, interrupting it through the trans brake switch. (Cut the wire, attach each cut end through the in/out of the transbrake switch)

Re: Transbrake and NOS controller wiring
I used to run a street legal 69 Camaro with a 572ci and TH400. I ran 275hp nos on a plate. It had a transbrake button on the steering wheel. There was an on/off switch down on the gear stick console so the transbrake wouldn't work unless that switch was on to begin with. The button on the steering w...

Re: Filling bottles
There are only two suppliers/importers in the country. The market is pretty well tied up.

Re: Filling bottles
We only use medical grade stuff, no sulphur. I wondered about the sulphur. Does it damage your engine eventually?

Re: Filling bottles
Its mainly blowers and turbos here. In Top Doorslammer (similar to Pro-mod) which is the class I race, there are only two nitrous cars, and one of those is switching to a blower motor this season. I'm the only mug left who runs nitrous. I go through the equivalent of three ten pound bottles per meet...

Re: Third Stage
Yes I'm now thinking plenum too after some research. The reason for the push button was so I could go without the third stage if the car was getting loose up track, or if I was winning without it. Personally I prefer the consistency of timers but its a hard decision.

Third Stage
I'm currently running two Speedtech foggers on my drag car. I run two 1050 dominators flowing 1220cfm. First stage comes in on launch when transbrake released. Second comes in on a timer. I want to hook up a third stage. What would y'all suggest. 1/ Plates under carbs. 2/ Fogger through the end of t...

Re: PLUG READING FOR A NITROUS MOTOR
I have been running those autolites. They worked fine but I'm told NGK's are easier to read. I noticed when comparing the two that the Autolite seems to have a wider ground strap. Other than that they look the same.

Re: PLUG READING FOR A NITROUS MOTOR
That's a hell of a motor man. Have you ever burnt the straps off any of your plugs? Just seems like alot more timing that other 18 degree motors run. 700 hp is a pretty good hit with -8 plugs and c-16 gas. I would use 10's if not even going to 11's. I run 10's in my motor. If the 10's did look nast...

Re: Is a glide the right choice?
That rear gear change is going to make it launch a lot harder but you're going to be pulling up to 1000 more revs over the line. Thought about that?
