Re: my local track is in trouble...

I suggested to Dan at KID that he consider allowing people to race for Test & Tune prices if they sign a waiver saying that the track could keep any winnings that you might win. I would certainly sign up for that. Anyone who races, expecting to win money on a regular basis is kidding himself. I ...

"HPDrifter - I'm going to be in Wichita Sat, I might swing by the Yard store and look. Man it's been forever since I was in that place, I'd like to go sniff around there at bit" If you go - in the main building, walk past the checkout area and about half way to the west side of the buildin...

Then I put the nuts on abracket inside the dash, nest to the steering column. (I've got one for the trans ...

'Hitch,
I've got a pair of headers that you can try until something better comes along.
(I lent them to a guy with a '79 Camaro and they didn't fit it. I really don't know what they are.)

Re: Aero Scoop Mount

You might consider triming the hood so that the lower flange on the scoop fits under the hood, providing some extra strength.

Re: Rack & pinion set up

I'm not the expert here, but I would think that the rack & pinion would tolerate a lot more than

Re: Cleaning piston tops

I remember, as a kid, we used to use the edge of an old piston ring to cut the carbon off the top of flat top pistons.
But the seafoam and soft brush sounds better for new, expensive dome pistons.
