Re: Rear end housing not level

There are smarter guys than me on here (dang near everyone), but do you think that the previous owner may have had the chassis
pre-loaded to straighten out under acceleration loads? Ask him, if youcan. Maybe he can/will help you figure it out. Good luck.

Re: All Nova owners check in here.

I saw a '69 or '70 Nova (white two door), sitting in the weeds here in Wiciita last week.
I don't know anythig about it, but if you're looking I can tell you where it was.

Re: my new WOT switch

Also neat bracket fab from an extruded angle. Anyone can come up with something complicated. Something simple but effective is always more ...

Re: solid throttle pedal

I'd never thought about it before, but that nhra-required toe hook must be pretty much useless with a cable throttle.

Can you mount it on the forward side of the bar that's too far aft?

Re: Steering shaft question for a chassis guru or alloy expe

"I just don't want to sacrifice looks for safety."

Huh?

You might want to go with moly or mild steel to get a safe weld on your steering wheel or quick release adapter common to the shaft. Not a good place to take a chance.

Re: Help me pick an electric fan..

If it's something that you can use, I've got a new, in the box, Jeg's 16' fan that I don't plan on using. Maybe $15 off their price?

Email me at lizardofoz@att.net if you're interested.

Hitch,
Try Performance Coatings + in Joplin: http://www.performancecoatingsplus.com/
I can't recommend anyone higher.
I think that Ralph and Kevin are sending something over this week. You might talk to them, also.

Re: new builder..... just some questions.

If you decide to pay someone to build you an engine, pay extra (if you have to) for him to let you watch / help.
You will appreciate the finished product more if you've touched every part and understand what it does.
You don't learn anything by just writing a check. Have fun.
