Re: Computer pass time!
Running Renegade110 oct. Used to run Torco114, but was told the 110 has more motor octane. I was told it would be safe for upto a 200 shot with my combo...who knows? I was thinking that since the chambers of my heads were cleaned up and reshaped they would be more efficient and like less timing, I w...

Re: Computer pass time!
I know its different because of the elevations and heat we run at but my car lost .2 running at 36* vs 38* last weekend. It was 90* here with 53% humdity 8117' D.A When I tested timing. Made a pass @ 36* 10.023 @ 134.74, took 15min to get the car back to 140* bumped the timing back to 38* made a pas...

Re: Computer pass time!
Congras on the successful passes.Something to look forward to, when I first got my nova out it ran 10.7x's with only suspension tuning I got it down to 10.20's and got my 60' from 1.6x's to mid 1.3's. Added more power and its running 9.7 without getting my 60's back to normal. Now it time to install...

Re: New bests
That's a pretty good improvement. BTW: The air up there sucks... These best air I have ever seen is right around 5500'. I would love to see what my car would run around sea level. Also because I was going rounds in the race I didnt get the chance to play with timing or adjust cam timing, ad...

Re: back yard of horsepower
COOL. Looks like a good time. There is a guy around here that is in his late 60's early 70's that still makes a couple passes a year in his alky injected blown big block rail. Runs 7.50's @ 200mph. I love the stories about the older guys still out there running fast.
New bests
I FINALLY got my car to the track after my top end changes from last year :D This was the first race of the year @ this track and there have been major rain/hail/snow storms in the area for the last week so the track surface was less than ideal, not that it ever is consitering its an old runway that...

Sorry buddy and I have to say it, another reason to buy a Camaro.....but I'm sure it's safe to say that you'll have this issue figured out in no time and off to the race track to break in that new motor. Calverts customer service is great :thumb: Good luck. Bruce ???????????????????? Why would some...

Re: It's back in the car........
7,000 DA ? Holy smokes, where do you live, on top of some mountain peak ?[/quote] Well the two tracks we race at are 4200' above sea level and the other is right at a mile up. Throw in 80-90* and 50% humdity. It kills horse power quickly. There was a guy from Cali that came out to race with the NW w...
