Yes John we did tow, primarily because of the amount of fuel it uses. Even with the fuel shut off leaned out while warming it up it will burn 3 gallons of fuel to get to 140. Its probably going to get block heaters.

The old setup was about 200lbs less weight and im not sure what the power was 625-650? and went 6.00's 112, or 9.50's @ 138

The only thing thats the same on the car is the body, engine, trans, bellhousing, clutch, driveshaft, rearend, rack, front half of cage are all new and this weeke...

Bill it should work fine, but if i was going to upgrade i would probably do it with a BBC post with a crank support.

Bill Thompson is still using a standard Scat 4340 crank with his setup and not having any issues. I'm not sure of the power he is making??? but he ran 8.88 at 154 last weekend.
