Tubbedtruck's will pass what they want. I weld a piece of tubing from the tunnel to the rocker bar of the cage for the front of the seat to sit on. The tunnel side has a piece of 1/8" plate welded to it to weld the tubing to. Then support the back and head rest like Tubbedtruck has done in the ...

I think you will need to back the IC to the 48" and 7 to start but those MT sportsmans need to be replaced asap.

Yes it will. If you move the spring mount over on the rear end housing and do not cut the bushing it will be fine.

Yes on slotting the holes. I have even cut the inside of the bushing down to flush with the spring and then added the cutoff piece back to the outside to move the spring an extra 3/8".

There could be alot of things going on here. The front may be coming up too fast, the rear shocks not tight enough or both. How old are the slicks? Small slicks loose their side wall fairly quick with a heavy car.

You can do it, it just takes alot of planning. I'd like to see you use something like the Alston Chassis Works Eliminater II kit. https://www.cachassisworks.com/iwwidb.pvx?;multi_item_submit This would be a round tube chassis with struts and four link. It would be a good platform for a lot of power ...

I'm with John, The tires will probably help. If I may suggest a change, go to the Mickey Thompson 10.5 X 29.5 it's alot better tire IMO. You may try moving your throttle stop up or the Rpm higher on launch.I think the tire needs worked a little more. Also give your front some travel, maybe 3" a...

Steve,
THe molded Margard or scratch resistant ones are worth the money. You will not regret it.
If you have not already, try Percy's glass, it's virtually unscratchable.

I always use an aluminum seat because I think it's safer. I dont like the mounting lugs in the bottom of the poly seats. It would be easy for the lugs to pull out in a crash if the seat is not supported well with a tubing frame around it.
