Re: Need a new floor jack
I spoke to the manufacturer today and believe it or not, she told me they were going to send me a new power unit or a new whole jack. Supposed to be 7-10 business days, but may be less. I guess we will see.

Re: Need a new floor jack
I have drained the fluid but when I did a spring and 2 check balls came out and I am not sure if I have them installed right. I think I am going to call the manufacturer and see what they say. If you talk to you buddy see if he can tell you exactly how he did it.

Need a new floor jack
In the market for a new floor jack. I have a craftsman 3 ton that is a big POS, never held a load since I had it always creeped down. I have looked at the Arcan sold at Northern Tool and looks pretty heavy duty and raises higher than my craftsman and has almost perfect reviews http://www.northerntoo...

Control Arm Bushing Replacement
So I am finally getting around to replacing my front control arm bushings that I bought last year (Energy Suspension). I am wondering if most people use a bearing splitter and a hydraulic shop press to press them out. If so do you have a recommendation as to what splitter to use? I don't want to spe...

Re: Oil restrictors
I am using a set of file fit moly rings from PBM. May not be the best brand, but everything I have ever had of theirs has worked. I want to say the are around $100 for the set, maybe a little more.

Re: Oil restrictors
20% leakage is mighty high. I believe I would be putting in some new rings at least. Would I have to have the block honed...or can I just slam some rings in it? You have to hone it and get the correct finish on the cyl walls so the rings will seat in. If its going to be apart get the bores checked ...

Re: Got my new 408 to the Track !!!
I am no expert, but may want to think about a little more converter with the cam you are running. Just my opinion. Min is getting real close to the 10s, ran a 11.10 last year in 85* summer. I have changed the gear and have not made it to the track since then, but hoping to get mine in the 10s this s...

Re: PINKS ALL OUT UPDATE
Are all tracks running a "Qualifier" race? MIR did last year and VMP is this year. Basically, 80 more spots will be awarded to those who were not able to buy a ticket. I will be at the one for VMP.

Re: Got my new 408 to the Track !!!
Nice runs. May want to think about going to a 3" exhaust, open that 408 up a bit. We have similar setups.

Re: Good Deal?
To me, I just think if you put OBO on something you should be willing to negotiate, if it said firm I probably would not ask. Oh well, may hold out a couple of days and see what happens. I'm in no hurry.

Re: Good Deal?
Don't you hate it when someone lists a price and then OBO, and you go to make an offer and they say they are firm on the price? Why don't they just say "Firm"?
I'm still thinking it is a good price? Ah, what to do?

Re: Good Deal?
Went to look on the inside today. In tip top shape and definitely is a 2008 model. No scratches anywhere. I think I am going to make an offer and see what happens.

Good Deal?
Found a 24' enclosed Pro Line Trailer in excellent shape. It is black and has the vinyl walls with plywood floors and cabinets in the front. I think it is a 2008 model and has new tires and comes with a spare tire and wheel. The only thing I am not sure about is the 7,000lb axles. He currently hauls...
