looks like the spring rate is having an adverse effect on weight distribution does your weight come out the same as the difference you have if not it could be there is some binding going on I am sure Dave or Billy can guide you better but left to right weights are more important than totals also the...

LF and RR are always going to be different than the same sides because if you add or remove weight it effects it diagonally
across the car
I cant comment on your set up as i have a multi leaf no traction bar setup but its running 9.8*@144-146 so it working quite well

not sure if this helps much my 72 is 2870 with me and fuel i spent a lot of time with scales and found that you need to look at how much difference is caused by you being in the car and the car being empty certainly having different spring rates will affect it depending on how responsive your suspen...

turned out the problem was the 12v supply i took from the starter stud was hanging in mid air because the stud lock nut had dropped off allowing the ignition wire to dangle off but still touch the terminal looking like there was supply when i spun the motor it shook the wire off killing the spark wh...

Got loaded up last night to t+t today went to fire the motor again for a final check and BINGO no spark it had been running for about 10 mins no problem so after spending 4hours looking for loOse OR broken wires swapping plug leads and plugs still no fire is there any way of checking out the MSD box...

Instead of changing out my rear gear I am thinking of dropping down from a 28" tire to a 26" does any one have an idea how much that would affect my top end rpm currently I use a 3.73 rear gear.

Just ready to fire up my engine again and could use some advice on my fuel pressure, I know I need 7#-7.5# at the carb (1050 Dominator) but how much pressure should I be sending to the regulator or does it even matter just adjust the regulator to the carb pressure? I have the Magnafuel Pro star 500 ...

In the doorslammers book it mentions extending the shackle length when removing the leaf clips at the rear of the leaf pack how much longer do the shackles need to be and do i even need to do this if i go with sliders.

wanted some opinions on tire pressures
Rears are 275*60*15 Mickey Thompson ET radials on 10*15 rims
Fronts are 24*4.5*15 Mickey thompson ET street on 4.0*15 rims
car is 72Nova 2830# fully fueled with me in.
