Check this out: http://www.ohiocrank.com/enginespage1.html

I've been drooling over it a lot lately. All AMERICAN made and less expensive than the sum of the parts.

Re: Powerglide for Ford

I'd suggest that you consider an aftermarket planetary set with a good input shaft for a PowerGlide in a heavy, high horsepower car. You might as well do it right the first time. It's cheaper than fixing everything you break and doing it right later. Good luck.

Re: Engine Building

I would suggest that you decide what motor you want to build and define what you want to do with it (use, chassis, vechicle weight, torque convertor, tires, gears, etc.), then call a major cam company and talk to them about what they recommend for your application. They will give you the best advise...

Re: Corvette back at the underground

Hitch,
I've got a BUNCH of brake line fittings from RJ Race Cars if you want/need them (cheap).

Let Kevin know. I'll bring them down.

Re: Onan Gurus...a question

I mentioned this to my son, who is a Cummings tech. He said that if the starter switch is a rocker type, normally in the middle position, try pressing and holding it in the opposite direction from "start". If you hear a "clicking" sound, it should be the primer working.
