Re: pinion angle?
You should set it in relationship with the drive shaft angle not the ground. There are millions of posts on forums everywhere about this everyone has got opinions on how to do it. I would say a good starting point is around -4* you dont want too much or your u-joint might bind.

Re: Looking for chrome trim part for interior
If you want to go through all the hassle and cost we use 1/2 round brass for custom moldings, drill and tap the flat side for 4-40 screws and have them chromed when its time for install loctite the screw in and cut the head off to make the stud.
Re: 355 build
TH350,get a converter built custom for your specific combo.1-3/4" headers should be fine go to big and you might lose torque.Outlaw2 wrote:Any suggestions on what tranny would best suit my application and headers?

Re: Lexan Windows - Is Marguard worth it?
Thats what I did I just bought some sheets and cut out my own ,I think it was a guy from Clear One who told me not to get the coated lexan.Craig W. wrote:If the Marguard still scratches and can't be buffed, then we might as well save the cash and go for the normal stuff.
Re: 355 build
If your looking for torque ( especially in a heavy truck) I would do a 383 for sure. We had a nice basic one we put in a camaro, pump gas, hyd flat tappet cam, vortec heads, chinese air gap made 430 hp at the flywheel. I would run the th350. IMO

Re: Lexan Windows - Is Marguard worth it?
When I was looking for lexan I was told not to get the Margaurd because if it does scratch ( and it will) you cant buff it out because of the coating.Non coated can be buffed.

Re: AFR 227 Race Ready Head question
I had the older AFR220 with the 60/40 I used a conventional off the shelf Wiesco piston and Comp rockers but the stud girdle had to match the 60/40. I would check with Chad Spiers before buying the AFR heads.Just my .02

Todd do you think you had a hard time welding the collectors because they were coated? I know you ground it off but its seems sometimes coated metals are just a big PITA.They still look good as does the rest of the car

Re: rocker shaft
Maybe I'm missing something here, but the only time I've used adjustable pushrods is during mock up to figure out the correct pushrod length. Unless there's something I don't know about that's all they are used for in race applications. John he has a 360 mopar engine the stock configuration has sha...

Re: rocker shaft
Sounds like you already have a set of 360 heads with stock shafts is that correct? If you have the intake etc to go with the heads use them, if you have to buy everything anyway get the Magnum heads they are pretty good and as you know have studs for easy rocker adjustment instead of adjustable push...
