Exposed shock shaft length at ride height ?
On a drag car with leaf springs and sliders, caltracs, rancho shocks. How much (length) exposed shock shaft should be seen between upper shock mount and body of shock? 1, 2, 3 , 4 inches? We are not worried about ride quality at this point, this car see's no street time now a days. Thanks :thumb:

Well.. After the rewire: Every thing worked as it was supposed to on my end. How ever I was a little dissapointed as I was expecting some :scratch: VIOLENT results. The car launched the same, 60 footed the same, etc.... The only thing that changed by launching with the brake and Nitrous together was...

john, the offer is real. That said, if you ever want to really run quicker and faster you've got to lose the tunnel ram/dual carbs, you're giving up TENTHS. Install a vic jr. and Holley 1000HP carb. Point is, there is a combination to everything and yes, he may benefit from more air. He may could benefit with a wider wheel to stand the sidewall up. That wrinkle is not excessive but I think you can be a little better with a wider wheel . I do like wheel screws because it makes the sidewall stif...

The tire shake thread got me thinking... I dont have tire shake BUT I do think I have to much wrinkle for my 1.41-1.397 60's.
