Re: Nirous on The Brake
I've never tried all 100% off the line it's only been as high as 60%, I have the N.O.S. controller. With the C4 it would spin bad, With the glide it did at most 1 to 2 tire revs that I could see from the replay. It is a sbf with highport heads ,408CI. The converter is a 4200 stall ATI fuel&blown...

Re: Nirous on The Brake
yea the 60' never seems to get better than 1.50, with the C4 it would spin pretty good and get a 1.5 now with the power glide it doen't spin an gets a 1.5. I will leave the nitrous linked to the brake as suggested. Since it's not spinning anymore I might try 100% flow off the line. Saturday the NOS ...

Nitrous on The Brake
Just ran the car saturday with the New Glide. 9.17 at 154mph..1.502 60'. We changed from a C4. We had the nitrous system set to activate when the trans brake was released. Now with the tighter converter and nummerically lower 1st gear I think I need the nitrous to come on while on the brake. How are...

Re: Nitrous Tuning
Sorry, 6.5 psi nitrous fuel pressure both systems flowing. And we don't watch bottle pressure to much since we are in a street drive class .Not much we can do if it's to high at the end of the cruise. Becuse you only get 30-45 min of cooldown. We have 2 15 lb. bottles in the trunk to last 3 back to ...

Re: Times before and after nitrous
Depending on how loose your converter is you may not get as much as expected. You may blow through your converter.

Re: glide vs. 3 speed
We just broke our C-4 super comp. It only had 3 runs on it. (broke the forward cluch drum which was replaced 3 runs ago at a freshen-up). From what I have seen C-4s are only good till low 9's high 8's. The run before it broke was our fastest so far 9.022 and 151mph with a 1.49 60ft at 3400 lbs. It s...

Re: Bigger Fogger Jets or Plate
For clarification: NMRA True street NO backhalf or mini tub only allowed 10.75 inch acual tread width max. Kind of hard to fit 10.75 trea width in 89 mustang without mini tubs best I could fit is a 10 inch' ish Tread with out hanging outside of the wheel wells. 27x11.5x16

Re: Bigger Fogger Jets or Plate
Thanks for the response. I though I might be pushing the limits of one system .My initial Feeling was the plate option used as a passing gear haha.. But the more I weigh system limits I think the second fogger is what I'm goin to do. I have TFS High ports for TEA.. The car is set up for Truestreet.....

Bigger Fogger Jets or Plate
I'm running a NOS prorace fogger with 42f/42n which nos claims is 450-500hp. plugs look great, pistons look great. I'm currently running 17 degrees of timing, and C-16 fuel. I want more power. Which of the following would be the best avenue to take. 1. Increase curent fogger jet sizes. NOS tech clai...
