Gaskets for fabbed valve covers?

I think my driver's side valve cover is leaking in the rear corner. I'm using a cheap Felpro cork gasket. What are you guys using that works good?

Got my hood painted

I decided to get my hood painted to match the rest of the car. I made a deal with a local paint shop and got the labor for free. I wet sanded the hood and buffed it myself. I'm real happy with how my work turned out since I've never done any kind of paint work before.

My block work was less than $500 here in Pittsburgh. That included block cleaning twice (before and after machining), block testing, boring with torque plate, clearancing block for rods, smoothing oil return paths and zero decking.

Ok guys, it's a done deal. Signed, sealed and awaiting delivery.

I'm gonna be running the NX Holley Conventional Stage 6 plate system, adjustable from 50hp to 300hp as well as the NX GenX-2 accessory pack (heater, pressure valve, purge kit, etc).
