Most chassis builders I have talked to use this basic spec. I'm not sure how you would mearsure pinion angle as the car is going down tr...

Just a few thoughts here.........first of all Chassis Engineering shocks are not good. I think you've already proven this to yourselves with statements the shock looks like it bottoms out. Sounds to me that the shocks can't control the violence of the launch of your truck. I would set the ladder bar...

How much more are Santhuffs than Afcos? I grabbed a pair of Santhuffs at my chassis builder's shop and thought they were heavy duty which meant they were also HEAVY. Are they all that heavy? The rod looks to be twice the diameter as offerings from Afco. You're right, they probably are better for a c...

Glad you think the double adjustable Afco's are budget shocks John. I'll run out buy 4 of 'em since I now know that little factoid. Who's budget are we talking? Bill Gates? Ha ha. Some might disagree Santhuffs are the "best of the best"..........see below link http://www.penskeshocks.com/8...

John, are you and your brother-in-law not on speaking terms? Ha ha. Maybe the pins were on there when he bought the car? Would the Afco aluminum hood pin kit fulfill your quest? Also comes in blue which might look pretty dang snazzy on that bad boy Nova of yours.

I used to have a set of Hal Stocker Stars when they first came out. I was signed up to attend a Dave Morgan Seminar and Dave was bringing a shock dyno offering to test everybody's shocks if they brought them. I had never mounted them on the car so they were new in the box. You can imagine how I felt...

Lots and lots?

How much is lots and lots because I doubt that factory aluminum block is going to handle a load like a fogger can put to it. From what I've read, the factory block is good to about 700HP which, in the world of heads up racing, isn't a lot. For the extra 80-100#, you might be better off going with th...
