Hydraulic Clutch Opinions
I need some opinions. I have a clutch in my car that uses a cross shaft bellhousing. The way the chassis is set up, the clutch pedal and cross shaft never really worked all that well. I want to improve the operation of the whole set-up. One of the methods I was going to use was a hyd master cylinder...

No wonder he says he needs new sponsors, his tire bill must be huge. He sure goes overboard on the burnout.

Re: HELP! How Do You Remove Boosters?
I used to just take a counter sink tool on a cordless drill and drill the center of the booster where it goes into the body. Just go far enough to remove the booster, then when you put them back in use a bit of epoxy and they will be as solid as from the factory.

Awesome crankshaft repair
Last year I had a major problem with my crankshaft (spun #4 main bearing) the damage was extensive. I figured my crank was scrap, or at least would cost a fortune to repair! I sent it to Marine Crankshaft, well let me tell you these guys are nothing short of amazing. They welded and reground #4 main...

Re: Proform Starter Wiring
I thought I read somewhere in the rule books NHRA/IHRA that they no longer allow a Negative cutoff, and all cutoffs must be on the positive side. I will read the rules and check.

Re: Any reason not to....
We have a long winter here in Canada and my slicks sit for up to 6 months. I leave them in a heated garage but they show no signs of problems. They are always just like the day I got them.

OUCH!
Well if you look at the bright side, you get to build a whole new motor now.

Re: 400 sbc water in oil
Do you have the correct head gaskets for the 400? Those blocks have the steam holes between the cylinders. I had simialr heating and leakge problems with mine when I ran it.

Re: O2 or ex. temp?
It looks to me like the O2 sensors are basically 1 or 2 channels only. (unless you want to run 4 of them). This will only tell you the tune of the whole engine or half the engine on a dual channel sensor. 8 egts may not be as easy to interpret but you can at least monitor all the cylinders. Distribu...

Re: Trans Input Shaft RPM Logging
I talked to Lenco and they said its a pretty easy procedure, just drill a hole 1.625" from the end of the shaft and sink a .250" magnet in. He said that the magnet should be about .200 thick, can you get different thickness magnets?
Thanks

Re: towing sway control????
I have found that the placement of the car in the trailer has a lot to do with stability. Try moving the car ahead a bit to create more tongue weight.
If you can't move the car any, put on a set of load leveling torsion bars.
