magic...NO  the best bolt-on suspension bar none...YES :-P

There are about 3 dozen in the country using this suspension and MY ride is the barometer and has set the bar!

None have 60 footed 1.28 except your's truely!

Just bolting on this suspension will NOT have your ride working or running on par with mine!

The other red chevelle in this video, that of a competitor and aquaintance, has the same suspension and his ride has never worked on par with mine, 60 footed anywhere near mine nor run as quick even weighing less and having more engine up till last season when I was running my cast iron, oval port headed 468 topped with a 4150 carb!

On that pass he ran 10.378@ 128.48 with a 1.424 60 foot and I typically had him covered by 2 tenths with my 468 which is no surprise with him running rectangular port heads, big single plane, big tube headers and a dominator!

Fact is that my ride with my 468 works far better and is quicker than EVERY small tire n/a BBC Chevelle running a stock type/bolt-on suspension here in Division 1 brackets up to and including most 540's and GM's 720HP 572 no mind now with the new 522!

It also works better and is quicker than every Chevelle fitting the description above that I have encountered running at MotorMile Dragway, Va as well as Piedmont Dragway, NC!

There's far more than the suspension to why my ride does what it does!!

In respect to the 1320 Racer,

I have to say that some racing secrets are meant to stay that way.. That is how you succeed over your competitors...

I have family members across the country that can make a stock suspension car do things that are unbelievable. I'm not that talented or even claim to be a mechanic. I'm just a car guy who grew up around drag racing, and have been driving drag/street cars since I was 14 years old. I understand enough to say I respect what you have done to that BADASS chevelle. You don't owe anyone an answer to what makes that car fly.. Hopefully you have family and/or close friends that you pass on your experience/expertise too. And to those fortunate people, respect the hard work, learn from it and ENJOY.

Now having said all that, get that Chevelle into the Eights!

Did you have to make any adjustments when you went to the bigger motor?

No.

nuthernova, thanks and you're one of the few that lurk and post on the net that get it!

As for the 8's...not going to happen.

I'm a bracket racer, as it is the car isn't legal to run 9's and I don't play with nitrous, besides the fact that this car at nearly 2 tons wouldn't be safe running in the 8's!
