front end travel

#1 Post by fourtenposi » Wed Aug 22, 2007 8:28 pm

Is there a method to determining front end travel or is more just trial and error? I got the qa1 adjustable coil overs on my car and I set them the same for same adjustment. I had one race and it sitting about a 3/4 inch higher on the left side. I am trying to decide whether I want to raise one side up bring one side down or meet in the middle.

Car is a 74 nova weighs about 3100 pounds, It had a 51/49 weight balance but that is before I lowered the front end so I am sure there is more nose weight. Car runs 6.9x with a sixty of 1.49-1.53. The shocks made a dramatic improvement in the car especially on a slick track. There used to violent on launch and now it is very smooth and it picks up the front tires and carries them further. I wish I would spent the money many years ago on them. I looking more consistency vs et.

Thanks in advance

Bill
