Any of you Nova owners cut off the rubber a-arm snubbers to give you more front-end extension? How much more extension did this give you? Do your a-arms smack the frame hard?

I cut mine down to approx. a 1/4 inch so there would be no metal to metal contact. It will give the amount of what you cut off in extra travel. It is a good idea.

I would've thought you would get more than the amount cut off since it's near the fulcrum???

You probably do, I did not measure the difference before and after.

When I assembled the front end, I checked the travel with just a shock and no snubber. Then I measured the distance from the upper arm and the frame and just cut the snubber a little longer than that. I wanted full extension, but I did not want to top the shock out too hard. I could not tell you if it how much travel it picked up, but I probably removed about a 1/2 inch of material.
