Nova Mini Tub / Leaf Spring Relocation Q???

To set my sliders I made my boxes, hung the springs, bolted the sliders to the springs. mounted the rear and tires and sat the car down. all I had to do then was tap the slider box to it's proper position.


My .02 cents for minitubbers... I wished I had left an exta 3/4" or so where that arrow below is in the trunk pan. Then I could have bent it down to make a flange to mate with the wheel tub and made it look more factory. You can also see my frame notching.

I mis stated my question I guess. Did you have to strech the wheel opening to fit the 29.5 tall tire. I have back-halved mine with over 19" to the frame, but dont know if I can go any taller than the 28" I have now.

Yes, had to trim the front lower edge and rear lower edges. Also watch the rear center about where a stock tub hits the trunk pan area. Need min 1 1/2" clearance for tire growth with the slicks.
