To set my sliders I made my boxes, hung the springs, bolted the sliders to the springs. mounted the rear and tires and sat the car down. all I had to do then was tap the slider box to it's proper position.


My .02 cents for minitubbers... I wished I had left an exta 3/4" or so where that arrow below is in the trunk pan. Then I could have bent it down to make a flange to mate with the wheel tub and made it look more factory. You can also see my frame notching.

Yes, had to trim the front lower edge and rear lower edges. Also watch the rear center about where a stock tub hits the trunk pan area. Need min 1 1/2" clearance for tire growth with the slicks.
