I've been in contact with our friend, Jeff4100 from Brazil for some time now and I thought I'd share some of the pictures of one of his projects.

I'm not sure if this is his car or one of his customers, but it looks good and I think this guy is doing one heck of a good job.

He give's out a lot of credit to his USA buddy's that he met here on DragStuff.

EXCELLENT JOB JEFF!!!

For someone who has never built roll cages or fabricated chassis, you should be very proud.

Thanks John!!!

This is a Brazilian Dodge car similar to yours Datsun... This car is a 80' Dodge Polara which is equipped with a 1.8 liters engine. This car is not mine, it is of my job partner, Mr Alexandre (he will come up here later...).
Our goal is to use all the Brazilian Drag Race rule's book allows for its class. Mr Alexandre will run on the Turbocharger (for rear traction cars) Class. The ET Record for it here is 9,8s! This time was got with a Chevy Inline car with 800...900HP and 2700 pounds...

Our car's weight will be near to 2000 pounds and I think we'll got 400...450 HP on the engine. Sincerely, we don't know how much power this engine will produce...This is the first Dodge Polara that will run on Brazilian tracks...We need to study and learn all what this engine will get to give us...It will be a big school for us!! As you saw on those pictures, we are on the middle of the project, building the rear frame and finishing the X braces behind of the main hoop..

We are doing a different job than we have here... We are projecting all the have on our hands...exaust headers, Roll cage, Rear Frame, 4 Link...and it is getting right...so, I hope yes!! If you wanna see, we will post here!! :thumb:

To start our talk, let me introduce the W2 Racing Team.
Jeff
Alexandre
Charlie - the dog

My best wishes for all!!
God bless you!
Thanks

Mike, you have no idea how we got when we hear something good from you!!! The US guys are the excellence on the motorsports and we have a lot of respect of you...

When I and Alexandre decided to found the W2 Racing, we joined our skills for it. To start our job, we needed of the machines to get it. Then, Alexandre put his CATIA 3D knowledgement on practice and we developed our own Tube Bender and Notcher Machines Project. After, I used my machine's building skills and transformed the papers on chips to get these machines...

Here we don't have any machine in Brasil which produces a good quality bending. Get a US machine would spend our lives...we have no option...built them!

You are a talented guy Jeff!!!!! On another note you need to get rid of those 90* bends on those headers....I am no header expert but there not good...Here is a set that I made with some help for my car...And when I had some money I had a custom set made...Look a little different don't they

Of course yes!! Very good headers!!!!

But we had no option for this because we just have 45° and 90° (mild steel) on the market. So, we needed to adapt the project on it. And this header was made before our Tube Bender...now, we are able to improve it....

Below you'll see the first header that was built...and our Mopar BIG BLOCK 1.8 engine!!! :thumb:

Unfortunately our drag race tecnology is more than 40 years behind you...I don't know what we need do to put our cars on the track!!!!

If you see almost of the Brazilians Drag Race cars...you'll get a hearth attack in 2 minutes!!
