Anti hop

Hi I am using edelbrocks anti hop bars on 66 chevelle with pretty good success, until l this year went from a 396 to 427 and are having traction problem,have 4.56 10.5x28 mt slicks for 1/4 and 26x10.5 for 1/8 . last sun. had 2 good runs 6.89 1.50 60 ft. 100 mph. and 6.94 1.51 60ft. 99.7 mph in 1/8. the rest of day 60ft went to 1.57 and 8s.et went to7.05s . I'am thinking i mite be heating my tires to much what do you guys think? Also i have the shocks that came with the edelbrock suspension kit for A body. Last time at NED went 10.88at 125 mph with 28 in. tires.
