NOOB needs help with coilovers

#1 Post by 03ramit1 » Mon May 23, 2011 9:53 pm

I'm building a 75 duster. I am currently installing a Dana 60 and ladder bars. The problem I have is that the coilovers that I have will not clear the floor at the rear of the axle tube. Is there an issue mounting them to the front of the axle tube? The car will see 90% track time and about 10% street time. So I am more concerned about setting it up for the track, than I am the street. Thanks for helping out a NOOB.

Moving them forward will simply mean that you may need a stiffer spring.
