Need help to hook 10.5W ladder bar door car, link to video.

How can I achieve the greatest amount of traction from my 67 notchback Cuda?

Last fall with my old 540 motor w/ 899hp, I ran an 8.97 at 149.9mph with a 1.25 60 foot. It pulled the tires for a big wheelie and carried it out about 50 feet.

This year I have a new 557ci Kieth Black Wedge motor running Terminator Methanol injection that makes 955 hp (55hp more) and when I launched off the transbrake at 3,200rpm with the exact same suspension set up, it blew the tires off right away and went right up on the limiter at 8,000 rpm… It did run 154mph but only 9.10 due to the poor 60 foot.

Here is the launch with new motor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvNwhaVSQQM

Corner weights are:
LF = 770 RF = 772 total FT = 1,542 or 56%
LR = 651 RR = 536 total Rear = 1,187 or 44%

Tires are 10.5W-31 M/T slicks at 9.5 psi on 12” rims. Slicks are 2 years old but only 40 passes on them and have 6 /32” tread depth left. Rear gear is 4.56 and 727 3 speed auto trans w/ 8” Coan convertor stalls at 5,600 rpm.
34” double adjustable ladder bars mounted in the bottom hole (angled approx 5 degrees down)
Strange double adjustable rears w/ 110# hypercoil springs and Strange double adjustable fronts w/ Drag race torsion bars.

What should I try different to get it to hook?
Thanks for the help,

Arnie

First though that came to mind is possibly the need to tighten the rear shock rebound if it's smacking the tire too hard.

Second thing is fresh tires.

That converter flash is that with the old engine, or the new?

Close up launch video would help with diagnosis as well.
