Front end travel?

Ran our Camaro last night at test and tune First hard runs. Car left good with a .026 reaction time then it loses rear grip. Had to make an adjust on cal tracs car was pulling to right. Got it going straight but still breaks loose after launch. Question on front a- arms with car at rest what sort of clearance should I have from a arm and chassis? I think car is hitting a arm to chassis unloading rear end. When I first installed Moroso springs a arm would hit chassis just by bouncing front end, Cut 1 1/2 coils to lower car gave me more clearance. I think this is my problem not enough front end lift. Should I lower car for more a arm travel? Best 60' was 1.69 spinning and off throttle and back on.

How much travel do you have in it?

First guess it sounds like you need to slow your shocks down on the extension, are they adjustable?

Video is a big help if you can get that of the launch..

Have shocks set on front at 90/10 3 way's. Set rear to stiffest setting and reset bars to your specs.

Car launches good then about 20' out just blows tires.

Next time out try going to the stiffer extension setting on those front shocks. And have someone video tape it for you.

Measure from ground to fender lip when it's sitting at rest, then jack up the front end to where it just starts to pull the wheels off the round, measure the distance from ground to fender lip, that's roughly how much travel you have.
