If I would take my car to get certified would I need to install a window net?

I've read where some people say yes and then some people say no?

No, they are certifying the cage, not the window net or belts. Doesn't mean you don't need up to date belts and net, but that's not part of what the inspector is certifying. Now, when you take your car to tech at the race track, they will look for those and that they are in-date. Along with properly installed.

Nope, you could bring a bare chassis to certify. And you can call up and they will come to your house to certify the car. The Division 1 guy comes to my house every 3 years and is done in 15 minutes.

The NHRA Tech guy came out to my house with all his toys and certed me in the driveway out front. Was awesome :thumb: :smt003

You can do the same thing at the bigger events - they show up there for just that purpose.
