Im new to drag racing and have never build a full drag car. I've starting building a 74 nova with a bbc th350 and 4.30 9". My question is what do do for the rear suspension. Im not tubbing the car this year and i would like to hook with a 28x8" slick or drag radial

My 74 nova is running 10s with stock multileafs, cheap shocks, Caltracs and ET Streets. Koni SPA-1s w/ Trick Springs on the front.

I run stock mono leafs and cal-tracs. however i do away with the staggered shocks and make and upper shock mount out of rollbar tubing and make some lower mounts for the rear housing amd make them straight up and down and get a little more tire room at the same time. and just run 15.00 gas shocks in the rear i am looking for a set of cal-tracs for my 4 door nova now if you know anyone who has any for sale p.m. me thanks

I don't think there is anything wrong with the stock mono leafs but eventually they will start bending at the front spring eye. The Calvert's are a lot thicker in that front spring section.
